The Survival Project In Retrospect: Apocalyptic Fantasy Bordering on the Absurd (and fattened with a steady diet of Internet browsing through airplane black box recordings, and WWII Morse Code messages)

The project began with pseudo scientific drawings illustrating a cross-referencing of disasters to necessary supplies, which mushroomed into an elaborate survival manual, complete with instructions on how to turn urine into potable water, or make clothing out of plastic trash bags. This lead in turn to making the clothing, and taping myself dancing in it, and then building a structure (the survival tent) to live in should I find myself in a situation where such clothing would be necessary. This is the point at which I returned to the relatively controlled world of painting pictures.
